2 days Uganda wildlife safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park Uganda
Queen Elizabeth National Park is one of the most popular national parks situated in in south western Uganda. it is one of the best destinations a tourist can go to for an exciting Uganda wildlife safari experience in Uganda.
Queen Elizabeth National Park is famous for the tree climbing lions, the boat cruise along Kazinga Channel, Chimpanzees in Kalinzu Forest as well as the Kyambura Gorge, the twin lakes; Lake Edward and Lake George, and variety of wildlife ranging from Elephants, Leopards, Buffaloes, Hippos among the many.
We plan our Uganda safaris depending on where you are. Those arriving in the country are picked at the airport by our safari guides and then transferred to Queen Elizabeth. We also cater for those that are already in the country. It is best if the visitors are with in Kampala or along the Kampala-Masaka-Mbarara highway. Our driver guide will pick you up from their and then embark on your journey to the park.
Detailed Itinerary of the 2 days Uganda wildlife safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park Uganda
Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Wake up early and take breakfast at your hotel. Our Uganda safari guide will pick you at your hotel early in the morning so that you start your journey by 6am. you will make a stopover at the equator in Kayabwe for some photos and the polar water experiment. From Kampala to the equator, it takes a drive of about 2hours.
After your equator safari, you shall embark on your journey to Igongo cultural center in Mbarara where you will take a tour around as you learn about the history of Ankole and then have your Lunch at the hotel. You may decide to have Lunch first and then the tour after or vice versa. This journey will take you about 3hours or less.
After your Lunch, your driver guide will continue driving to Queen Elizabeth National Park driving for about two and a half hours. Upon arrival, you will check in at your hotel as you prepare yourself for the next day.
Day 2: Do a morning game drive and do the 11am boat cruise along the the Kazinga Channel and transfer back to Kampala
Wake up early in the morning, take your breakfast at the lodge and get ready for the morning game drive. Your driver guide will pick you up at the lodge and embark on your morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park Uganda where you will see variety of animals such as tree climbing lions, elephants, giraffes, Uganda kobs among others. The game drive will last about 3 hours and then drive to the dock where you will get ready for the boat at 11am. After the boat, prepare to have lunch and leave this part of the world and head back to Kampala. You will arrive in Kampala late evening, transfer to your place of accommodation or for your flight late in the night at the airport.
