The 3 Days Kidepo Valley National Park Safari Uganda Wildlife Tour involves transferring by flight to and from Kidepo.

The charter flight is taken from Entebbe Airport or Kajjansi Airfield to Kidepo. On this trip, you will explore one of the last remaining virgin wilderness areas in Africa and marvel at great wildlife as they dwell in their typical habitats.

Day 1: Fly to Kidepo Valley National Park & Have an Evening Game Drive

Board a chartered flight from Kajjansi or Entebbe Airport to Kidepo Airfield about 2 hours of air transfer. You will enjoy the Ariel views of Uganda via the Kyoga basin and the Nile up stream; the flat landscapes of northern Uganda also provide very impressive Ariel experiences.

You will arrive early for lunch and relaxation to refresh from the aero toxic syndrome. In the evening, you will embark on the game drive along the Narus valley to enjoy the amazing wildlife sights including buffaloes, zebras, Antelopes, giraffes among others. Retire for overnight.

Accommodation: Apoka Safari Lodge (Upmarket/luxury), Nga’moru Wilderness (Midrange/Standard) or Apoka Rest Camp (Budget/Basic)

Day 2: Game Drive & Community Tour

Wake up for a cup of coffee before embarking on an early game drive through the Narus and Kidepo valleys to gain stunning views of not only fauna but also amazing scenic views of this semi-arid wilderness.

On this game drive, you may see lions, giraffe, buffaloes, zebra, elusive leopard, cheetah, and Antelope species while the stretch to Kidepo valley exposes you to Ostrich that only thrive in this park in Uganda. Return to the lodge for relaxation and lunch after which you will visit the Karamojong communities in the afternoon.

The traditional Manyattas have unique architecture while the general setting of their homesteads rotates around their pastoral occupation. Retreat to the lodge for overnight.

Accommodation: You will have dinner and overnight at your previous lodge.

Day 3: Guided Nature Walk & Return to Kampala.

After breakfast, embark on a guided nature walk where you can choose from the 4 hour trek to Lomej Mountains, 2 hour short guided walks along the Narus Valley or the walks in the Kidepo valley.

Taking any of these allows you to enjoy the beauty of Kidepo wilderness on foot and getting closer to less dangerous wildlife while taking time to marvel at unique scenic landscapes.

Return to the lodge for simple relaxation after which you will board a return flight to Kampala to mark the end of your 3 Days Kidepo safari.
