Day 1: Transfer From Nairobi to Samburu Game Reserve View Lodge

The Safari begins from Nairobi at Wilson Airport where you board a scheduled flight to Samburu National Reserve.

Upon arrival at the airstrip in Samburu, you will meet and greet with the camp guide and then transfer to the camp where you will spend the next three nights.

Samburu is a dry, rugged and stunning National reserve with a stark landscape filled with hills from all directions and River Ewaso Nyiro- the only lifeblood in the parched land.

These arid plains inhabit herds of elephants and big cats including the rare arid adapted animals such as Beisa Oryx, Somali Ostrich, reticulated giraffe and the long-necked gerenuk.

Day 2 – 3: Visit The Samburu View Lodge

Undertake a relishing game drive in the morning in Samburu game reserve and Buffalo Springs Reserve which are divided by rive Ewaso Nyiro.

Search for rare wildlife species such as Grevy`s Zebra, cheetah, wild dog and some common leopards. Bird-life is inspirational with over 450 species of birds recorded in the area that make Samburu a birders paradise.

Look out for the rare Lesser Kestrel and Taita Falcon that re found in this reserve. Explore the way of life of the local people by visiting the Samburu cultural village to experience there their way of survival in the harsh environment in the north of Kenya.

Day 4: Fly From Samburu to Masai Mara View Lodge

Relish breakfast in the morning and check out of the camp to the airstrip for a scheduled flight to Masai Mara.

Upon arrival at the airstrip in Masai Mara- the host of the Great Migration of Wildebeests from July to October.

End the dramatic sweeping plains of the Masai Mara in an afternoon game drive a home to the largest population of lions in Africa as well as the greatest population of plain games on earth.

Day 5 – 7: Explore Masai Mara View Lodge

You can opt to do a hot air balloon safari in the morning in Masai Mara, which is one of the best ways to experience the Masai Mara ecosystem or, enjoy your day in Masai Mara with a morning game drive.

Relish your lunch and afternoon relaxation or tour the traditional Maasai Manyatta to learn about the customs of the local tribes and the way of life of the traditional rural Africa.

Day 7: Transfer to Mombasa, Diani Beach View Lodge

Depart the lodge early in the morning for a short game drive in Masai Mara, looking out for the big cats and many other wildlife species.

Return to the lodge in time for breakfast and continue to the airstrip for a scheduled flight to Nairobi where you will board another connecting flight to Diani.
